Route: A little amble in the countryside around Oughtibridge.

This short walk was one that I did regularly during lock down. We go
through a woodland delf, fields and on quite lanes. The little lane at
pretty Onesacre is quite steep but you’ll be fine.

Route: A short walk taking in some of the excellent parks and woodland around Sheffield 8. From Millhouses Park we cross Abbey Lane and walk past Beauchief Abbey and the golf course up to Chancet Wood. We then cross Chesterfield Rd and do a quick circuit up to the cafe in Graves Park. Back via the cemetery! Should be in the pub by 1pm, I reckon. Whahey!

Start Point Location: Millhouses Park Boating Lake, the nearest park entrance is on Abbeydale Rd South opposite Dobcroft Rd.
Parking is available on Abbeydale Road and in the two car parks in the park.

Route: A short walk through fields, Monsal Trail then the village of Bakewell and back to Ashford-in-the-Water.

Start Point Location: In the middle of Ashford in the Water - outside the front of the Ashford Arms.
There is quite a bit of free on-road parking in the village.

Route: Starting at the entrance to Whirlow Brook Hall on Ecclesall Road South
we walk down to Ecclesall Woods, where there should be some lovely
bluebells and we will stop at the Discovery Centre. Returning via
Parkhead and good views of the city from open countryside.

Route: A shortish walk with one steep ascent up to Win Hill. From
Mytham Bride we cross the river at Bamford Mill before following
the old railway track up to Yorkshire Bridge and around the south
side of Ladybower for a cup of tea and a Jelly Baby. We then do a
steep but manageable ascent to the top of Win Hill. Back down to
the cars, via Thornhill.

Start Point Location: Mytham Bridge road nr Bamford Station Bus Turnaround, off Station Road, Sickleholme Bamford. Park at the far end of road but please don't obstruct driveways.
On A6013 heading south from Bamford, Mytham Bridge road leads off to the right, near the bus turning circle (between Bamford railway bridge and A6187 Hathersage to Castleton road traffic lights). Proceed to its end.
Overflow parking available in Bamford Station CP but we are not likely to need it as Mytham Bridge has quite a lot of spaces.

Route: Meet outside the Cross Scythes pub, then head down Totley Hall
Lane towards Gillfield Wood. Through a short section of the
wood,before turning left, across the fields, up to Fanshaw Gate
Lane,passing the old hall then, dropping down through the old
farm and back into the woods.
Along the path, back onto Baslow Road and eventually, turning
left across the field, dropping down to Totley lower village.
It’s a steep hill out of the village, but you’ll be pleased to know,
that the pub and the end of the walk are at the top of the hill.

Start Point Location: Totley, outside The Cross Scythes pub, Baslow Road.
There is usually abundant free parking on Totley Hall Road (turn left by the pub if you're coming up the hill). Please be courteous to local residents when parking vehicles.

Route: A relaxed, easy social walk along the Don to Oughtirbridge. We will continue the socialising with a drink in one of the pubs. Before retracing our steps back to Middlewood. There is also the option to hop on a bus in Oughtirbridge.

Start Point Location: We will meet at Middlewood tram stop. There is a park and ride car park there or on road parking across from the tram.
