| Day | Sunday |
| Date | 22/11/2015 |
| Start Time | 10:00 am |
| Walk Name | Hollings Hill and Axe Edge |
| Description | Head North from Longnor thro Under the Hill to Hollinsclough. Continue along the ridge of Hollins Hill with fine views over Chrome Hill. Descend to Thrikelow Hill, cross the A53 and walk the length of Axe Edge. Return to Hollinsclough via Howe Green and the upper River Dove, then back to Longnor via roads and byways. I suggest you bring a torch with you in case! For those who don't feel they can manage 13 miles it's still possible to have most of the fun by joining the walk at Hollinsclough at 11 am where we will have a short stop. The return to Hollinsclough would provide a 9 mile route, but still not a tea-shop walk! Please let me know if you intend to do this when you text. |
