| Description | A walk on the tops to the east and west of Dovedale. Starting from Alstonfield down to Milldale then up and along the east side of the dale giving the possibility of commanding views over the dale and beyond. After dropping down to Thorpe we cross the river by the carpark.and then through the notch in the ridge of Bunster Hill. Up through the fields on the west side of the dale and to the east side of the Manifold valley then back to Alstonfield via Wetton. |
