| Walk Name | Dam Busters walk |
| Description | Route starts by walking up on to Derwent Edge from Cutthroat Bridge where, on a clear day, we will have great views of the Derwent Valley and Ladybower reservoir. We then descend to Derwent Dam where we can (if time allows) visit Fairholmes visitor centre. Return to the start either by a gentle stroll along the side of the reservoir or climb onto Derwent Edge again, weather and energy levels permitting. The route can be cut shorter to about 8 miles if weather conditions are poor, by taking a shorter and less strenuous route in the second half of the walk. |
