Description From Fairholmes we go up Abney Brook and then to Margery Hill Outer Edge and Swain's Greave. We go up to Barrow Stones, Grinah Stones and Bleaklow Stones. Then down to Alport Castle and back to Fairholmes

Start Point Fairholmes Visitor Centre
Start Point Details Fairholmes visitor centre, outside the toilets - car park (Pay & Display) If you arrive early enough, there is free parking at Derwent Overlook, this is on the right hand side just before Fairholmes.

There is a pay and display car park at Fairholmes (c£4.50 a day). Alternatively if you arrive early enough you may find parking at one of the free designated spaces along the road to Fairholmes, depending on how busy it is. Please do not just park anywhere as you may get a parking ticket.

Additional Information Can be very boggy. There are two main ascents the second being half way round. Leave mobiles on as this walk will not run in bad weather because of the terrain we have to cross.
