Walk Name (FULLY BOOKED) Up Loxley for Molly icecream
Description We head up through Loxley Common onto one of the ridges of the Loxley valley (with some great views) which we follow to High Bradfield before descending to Low Bradfield. From here we follow an easy trail along the edge of Dam Flask before descending into the Loxley Valley. We then climb up to Dungworth for Molly icecream before dropping back down to follow the River Loxley back to Little Matlock and then its back (up) to the start!
Loxley - Loxley Common - Holdworth -High Bradfield - Low Bradfield - Dam Flask - Stacey Bank - Dungworth -Storrs - Rowel Bridge - Little Matlock - Loxley Village Green
There are a couple of ascents: (to Loxley common at the start and to Dungworth) together with a couple of steep(ish) descents (to Low Bradfield and Rowel Bridge) otherwise it is all undulations. Just a couple of awkward stiles to negotiate. Although there are some good footpaths, others are not well used and can be overgrown by vegetation at this time of year. Generally the ground can be rough, muddy and slippery, particularly if wet. Route may vary depending on conditions.

The start is served by the 61 and 31 bus routes - if using the bus then please let me know in your text.
