| Description | A walk with some great views, on some of the hills around Dam Flask and the Loxley Valley, visiting Low and High Bradfield and using part of the Sheffield Country Way. We can also enjoy some Molly icecream for possibly the first time in 2017(optional!). Dungworth - Damflask - Low Bradfield - High Bradfield - Holdworth - Storrs Bridge - Storrs - Molly Farm shop - Dungworth. A couple of steep ascents and descents - worth it for the views (and icecream at the top!). The ground can be rough, muddy and slippery in places, particularly if wet. Please wear/carry suitable clothing for all weather conditions. Note: Route may vary depending on weather conditions |

S6 6HF on the B6076 from Stannington to Dam Flask - park where you can on the road - Coming from Stannington village (and about ½ km after passing Molly) there is a layby on left at a bend just before you enter Dungworth 30mph zone which may have some spaces. If coming through Hillsborough please leave plenty of time for traffic. |

| Additional Information | To ensure the enjoyment of participants, numbers will be limited to c 20. Please note that I will not acknowledge or respond to your text unless there is a problem. Please text earlier in the week rather than later to ensure optimum planning by leaders. Please do not forget to include anything in your text which they should be aware of e.g. health (see also FAQ links under Important at top of calendar page). Potential new members welcome! Please let me know in your text if you are not currently a Ramblers member. Please ensure you are at the start ready booted and equipped to start walking at the specified time. Walk Leaders will not wait. No toilets at the beginning of the walk but we will stop in Bradfield for toilets. Refreshments available at The Royal Hotel and Molly farm. Well behaved dogs kept on short fixed leads held by considerate owners welcome. There are young animals and birds in the countryside at this time of year. Owners should follow the Law and Countryside code. Please let me know if you are bringing a dog. |
