Walk Name Damflask & Dungworth pre SYNED AGM round
Description A walk around Damflask Reservoir, taking us to the ancient hamlet of Dungworth. This informal walk will allow us to enjoy some fresh air and lovely views of Bradfield and the Loxley valley. It is also a chance to meet and share experiences with other Ramblers members from SYNED groups.
Route : Low Bradfield - Damflask - Stacey Bank - Dungworth - Rickett Bank - Damflask - Low Bradfield
The ground can be rough, muddy and slippery in places, particularly if wet or icy and there are a couple of awkward stiles. Please wear/carry suitable clothing for all conditions.

Start Point Details Low Bradfield village car park (behind cricket ground/tennis courts/village hall) - The Sands off Fair House Lane (just below words Kirk Bridge on map) (signposted to a recycling centre from road).

Additional Information The hall will be open from 10 am for use of the toilets. The walk will last for about 2 ½ -3 hours. There will be no formal refreshment stops on the walk. Please ensure you are at the start ready booted and equipped to start walking at the specified time. Walk Leaders will not wait. Mobile phone signals in Low Bradfield are either poor or lacking.
Bring your own packed lunch, which you can eat in the Hall after the walk. Refreshments (teas and coffees) will be available from 1pm. In the Hall please wear boot covers or alternative footwear rather than muddy boots.
The SYNED AGM meeting (hosted by S40WG) will start at 2pm prompt.
