| Description | After leaving the free car park in Eyam we take the path to Foolow and head out onto Little Moor and cross Silly Dale then head for Stanley House Farm. We then head for Housley and head out onto Longstone Moor (you'll be able to see Wardlow trig in the distance) and head for Little Longstone & Great Longstone. We will then head for Longstone Edge (High rake trig) and make our way to Black Harry Gate and on up the lane to Lane Head, then it's a down hill walk past the quarry and down to Eyam Dale and walk up the hill back to Eyam. Some say it's All Fools day, lets see.............. who can tell be best joke, tales & stories shall we??? Dress up for fun in the dales. |

Please note the back road sometimes used as a short-cut from Grindleford to Eyam (B6521 New Road) is still closed owing to subsidence so plan your journey accordingly (eg via Calver Sough) |
