Friends of the Peak have devised a new 190 mile, long distance walk which follows roughly the boundary of the Peak District National Park. The launch of the overall walk is 17th June 2017 and the walk has been split into 20 sections, each section is being walked by varying groups of people all starting at 10.00am, we will be walking section 10 on the day. For further information regarding all aspects of the Boundary walk and the events on the day please go to the Friends of the Peak web site at http://www.friendsofthepeak.org.uk/whats-on/events/

I will add that after walking Section 10 it does follow a route of paths which I doubt many of us have ever used and on a good day is a delightful route.
