Description Route - We will be walking via Huggate, Wayrham, Thixendale.
Low hills, dry valleys of chalk grassland and quiet country lanes. About half the route follows the well waymarked Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail. Some short steep ascents out of valleys.

I found this walk in a Ramblers Magazine.

An attractive feature of the Yorkshire Wolds is their characteristic dry valleys. The most northerly chalk outcrop in Britain. Rolling chalk hills and big skies, reminiscent of work by David Hockney who painted at nearby Warter.
Please ensure you are ready booted and equipped to start walking at the specified time. Walk Leaders will not wait.
