| Description | 2 trig walk - To get to the first trig we have a steady climb to the high ground of Black Rock and walk to Bolehill East trig point. We then head down into Bolehill & over the railway into Wirksworth. After a short walk through Wirksworth we head out acroos pastureland and head towards Stainsborough Hall and walk along Stainsborough Lane for a short distance then take a path to Carsington Water. We walk along the road for a while through Hopton & onto Carsington where we will have lunch. After lunch we have a short but sharp climb up & onto King's Chair and on towards the High Peak Trail, we then head for Harboro Rocks (Harborough Rocks trig) and the second trig yaaayh !! then it's Harboro Farm, Griffe Grange & onto the Pennine Bridleway passing Middleton Top & back to Wirksworth and the car park. |
