| Description | To celebrate 10 years of the Sheffield 40s Walking Group this walk is a good leg and lung stretcher with magnificent views. From Hope we walk along Edale Road and up to Twitchill Farm. A short steep climb takes us on to Hope Brink and along the Roman Road. We then come back along the Edale bridleway through Edale End and past Oaker Farm to return to Hope along Edale Road where we started. Apart from one very short distance the climbing is not steep and there are only a few stiles. In view of the start time and the fact that some will be enjoying the meal at the end of the walk there will be just a short coffee and bun break halfway round. |
