| Description | From car park walk up Marsden Clough. Pick up Pennine Way to Black Hill. Across to Holme Moss. ( Will try and find crash site). Take northern edge of Twizle Moss to Ramsden Clough via Shooting Lodge ruin.( new for me) Down Ramsden Clough via Quarry. Back to Holme and then car park Follow up note... The crash site was found and is of a Fairey swordfish. It came down in January 1940. The pilot was killed. |
