| Start Point Details | Top of footpath at the side of Coo Hill Plantation, Mortimer Road, Strines. This is just a few hundred yards after Strines Bridge on the right hand side of the road. NB. There is ample road side parking just before and after the start point |

| Additional Information | NOTE: A short section of Mortimer Road is currently closed for roadworks, this is from the A57 to Sugworth Road junction. If travelling from the South, please follow Diversion signs which take you off the A57 at Hollow Meadows along Rod Side towards Dungworth before return to Mortimer Road. Please allow extra 10/15 mins travel time. The route is quite challenging and very varied with a couple of steep ascents, please note there is some exposure as we walk down Abbey Brook. |
