| Description | The route will take us along Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge, Curbar car park, Big Moor. After crossing Sheffield Road we head up and onto Gardom's Edge (may stop here for lunch). Next we head for the Robin Hood pub & make our way onto Birchin Edge passing the Three Ships & Nelson's Monument and not forgetting the local trig point. Then we head back to Sheffield Road and walk towards Baslow Edge passing Wellington's Monument and Eagle Stone. As we head towards Curbar Gap car park we will head down the road and pick up the path below Curbar Edge which then heads up the hillside and onto Froggatt Edge and we then head back to the Grouse via Hay wood. |
