| Description | We walk along the riverside towards Chatsworth House then over the hill to Edensor Village. Then we have a steady climb up the track and lane to Ballcross Farm, enjoying extensive views along the way. A pleasant walk then follows through fields at Calton pastures leading us back to the start point. Lunch at the end of the walk for those who wish to stay. We aim to finish around 1pm in good time for those planning to watch England's World Cup quarter final tie at 3pm |
