| Description | A full day's walk starting and ending at Tideswell. From Tideswell Dale we start with a nice easy walk following the stream to Litton. We then join the Monsal Trail following through Millers Dale. Next we join the path along the river through Chee Dale, over the stepping stones and slippery limestones. A steep climb takes us to the top of Chee Dale via Mosley Farm. We then follow the path to Wormhill crossing Flag Dale. The route then takes us to Peters Dale and follows through Hay Dale. Climbing a rocky track leads us to Limestone Way taking us to Wheston where we join the Pennine Bridleway and back to Tideswell. |
