| Description | Leaving Hartington we pass fields through to the Raikes farm then take paths and tracks to Narrowdale. Skirting Narrowdale Hill, and through a farm we head for the dramatic Wolfscote Dale. Here we cross the River Dove and follow it along the dale before turning on to Biggin Dale. This is a very pretty dry dale which we follow to a track that leads us back to Hartington. With good pubs & cafes at the end, also a very fine cheese shop to boot. There are a couple of small ascents with a longish, gradual one up Biggin dale. |
