| Description | Starting at The Druid Inn we head down past Rowter Rocks and on to Birchover Wood. Passing by Uppertown and Birchover Quarry we head for Stanton Moor via Earl Grey Tower and the famous Nine Ladies stone circle. We then head down into Stanton in The Peak to Mark's Grandmas house and walk down through the village. Then to Toll Woods and on to Alport. We pass through Bradford Dale, climb up to Mawstone Farm and then to Elton. A steady climb takes us back to Birchover with fabulous views over Youlgrave and beyond. |
