| Description | A moderate walk with just 2 fairly steep uphill stretches and varied views. We start along the lower slopes of Lose Hill, crossing Edale Road and uphill to Hope Cross enjoying views of the Vale of Edale, stopping for coffee half way up. Along the Roman Road then down through the plantation towards Ladybower, with views across the Derwent Valley. Uphill then to Winhill Plantation and lunch stop. It's then an easy walk downhill to Thornhill Carrs with views across to Bamford Edge, and back to Hope via Aston. (Did I mention the views)? |
