| Description | From Fairholmes we walk up the East track of the Derwent Reservoir and ascend to Howden Edge via Hey Bank and Nether Hey. We cross to Featherbed Moss then over open moorland to Cartledge Brook. Walk South (ish) on Cartledge Stones Ridge pathway, Back Tor, Lost Lad and return via Green Sitches and Hollin Clough. The route is rough underfoot over the moorland and could be boggy. |

| Additional Information | Public toilets at start and finish, beer afterwards at the Anglers, (open to discussion or argument... not the beer but the location) Dogs welcome on short leads at all times. For any bird lovers out there, when I did the recce last week we saw Golden Plover and a Short Eared Owl, as well as many of the usual moorland suspects :-) |
