Walk Name Back Tor and Ughill Moor from Bradfield
Description A circuit of the moors above Bradfield taking in Ughill Moor, Strines Edge, Strines Moor, Derwent Edge and Thornseat Moor.

There are a couple of rough pathless sections. The walk is quite strenuous and not suitable for dogs.

Itinerary is Low Bradfield, Blindside Lane, Ughill Moor, Moscar, Strines Edge, Strines moor, Salt Cellar, Dovestone Tor, Cakes of Bread, Back Tor, Cartledge Stones, Rushy Flat, Thornseat Moor,, Ebenezer Stone, Agden Reservoir and back to Low Bradfield.

Additional Information There is a trig point at Back Tor.

There is an 18th century guide stoop at Moscar Cross, possibly the inspiration for Whitcross in Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre

There are gritstone outcrops at Salt Cellar and Cakes of Bread.

The Plough Inn is not far from the car park at Low Bradfield.
