| Description | A gentle amble through the beautiful Beresford and Wolfscote Dales to Mill Dale where we will stop for a cuppa. Then head south and cross the River Dove to climb Hall Dale, eventually leading to Alstonfield where we will stop for lunch. Then proceed north from Alstonfield through Narrowdale and retrace our steps up Beresford Dale back to Hartington for a well deserved pint. There are some lovely views on this walk and hopefully there'll be some lovely Autumn colours too! |

| Additional Information | Toilets at start of walk, and at Mill Dale. A couple of fairly steep (but not long) climbs up Hall Dale and again up to Alstonfield. There are a few limestone rocks in Hall Dale which may be slippery after rain, so care is needed. Dogs welcome on short leads - there are lots of sheep and cattle in this area. |
