| Description | Starting in the historic village of Wentworth we walk through fields and woodland to Elsecar where we enjoy a walk around the small but picturesque nature reserve that is Elsecar Reservoir. From there we head back towards Wentworth taking in the various famous follies of the area. We then continue up to and across the front of Wentworth Woodhouse itself and back to the village where we enjoy refreshments at the George and Dragon. Easy walking along paths and through fields and woodland but the ground is uneven in places and can be muddy and slippery if wet so please ensure you have suitable footwear. |

Please park in the limestone bays at the far top right hand side of the car park closest to grassed area near the new exit.
