| Description | THIS WALK IS CANCELLED! An undulating walk from Low to High Bradfield and around Agden and Dale Dyke reservoirs. A varied route with fields, woods, paths, some road walking and a couple of stiles. Leaving the car park at Low Bradfield we climb to St Nicholas church at High Bradfield and then follow a steep path downhill to picture-pretty Agden Reservoir. Crossing the head of the reservoir we drop down fields to where Dale Dyke Reservoir curves southwest among its trees. Following a path along the north bank of Dale Dyke we cross a footbridge at the head and then follow the route of the Sheffield Country Walk along the southern slopes, crossing fields, woodland and lanes back to Bradfield for a well earned drink in the Plough. |
