| Description | After leaving Holymoorside we walk through woods, fields & country lanes to the small hamlet of Wadshelf (crossing the busy A619 - care taken). A short refreshment break before we pass a nice little pub 'Royal Oak'�. We then head down a bridal track 'Bagthorpe Lane'� to skirt Nether Chanderhill, crossing the A619 again care as before. To eventually drop back to Holymoorside. The walk is shortish but can be very muddy, slippery especially on the hilly spots, plenty of stiles to negotiate, hey but we're all experienced enough, so it may take a bit of time getting back for a little drink at the Bulls Head. |
