| Walk Name | Goyt Valley and a Cob |
| Description | Starting from Derbyshire Bridge Car Park we follow the lane down Goyt's Clough then head west uphill to Shining Tor. Follow the ridge path to Pym Chair then down to Errwood Hall. The route then crosses to the east side of the reservoir, over Bunsal Cob (hence the walk name) then south across fields, uphill to Burbage Edge before return to the Car Park. A very mixed terrain walk, some steep ascents / descents, a small scramble and some road walking. Fantastic views on a clear day and we also pass two trig points... if anyone is bagging trigs. |
