| Description | We head out of the village via Bagshaw Dale then cross the road into the top end of Lathkill Dale then take the path up Fern Dale and pick up the path to Cales Farm & on to the road. Warning - this includes a short walk along the road walking on the verge till we get to Upper Oldhams Farm where the henge is. We have to access the henge via the farm, a small charge of £1 is all it costs. Who can name the local henge? (lets see who reads the walk descriptions) when texting for the walk please include the name of this henge. We'll have a stop at the henge & then head back along the road to Cales Farm and on to One Ash Grange Farm where you'll find ice cream & peacocks. We then head back to Monyash and that lovely pub with the cooling refreshing beer at The Bulls Head. |
