| Start Time | 6:00 pm - Evening start |
| Walk Name | Jo Snee (East) |
| Description | This urban walk mirrors the Jo Snee (West) evening walk we did on 1 July 2020. It starts on Spital Hill and mostly follows the Don or canal out to Forgemasters and back - all in search of the views of some more of Jo Snee's paintings. We walk from Tesco on Spital Hill and descend to the 5 Weirs Way, 'hop' over to the canal and follow that to Attercliffe Hill Top and then turn back at Carbrook and come back via Brightside to pick up the 5 Weirs Way and finally turn off by Atlas Works to return to Spital Hill. (NB I may combine the two Jo Snee walks into an all-day walk at a later date.) |

| Additional Information | For me Jo's (aka the Midnight Watercolourist) paintings celebrate Sheffield cityscapes and urban features. Streets become rivers, valleys or canyons. Buildings have bulk and edges and faces, like rocks and cliffs. Flats, offices, factories and warehouses, like hills, form ranges of peaks and dips with skylines. Her works can be found on Instagram @Joanna.Snee Enjoy the views, saunter and look around, maybe take a picture yourself. (Jo works at home basing her pictures on photos she has taken). |
