| Description | Monyash - We head south out of the village, passing the village pond and then onto the Limestone Way. Taking the path down Fern Dale and crossing Lathkill Dale at the bottom and up onto the top of Lathkill Dale and we drop down into the dale at Mill Farm. We follow the River Lathkill to Alport where we take the pavement for a short distance till we cross the road and up into Baltic Wood & Shiningbank Quarry. We then head across Haddon Fields and visit a trig (Norton Barn) then we head for Over Haddon, Bole Hill & Magpie Mine. Just a short walk back to Monyash and the pub |
