| Description | Thorpe - head out of the car park onto the Tissington Trail and head for Tissington Stop. We then take the path onto Wibben Hill (trig one) and coffee. Take Bent Lane to Lea Cottage Farm and cross by Choughriddins and down to the B5056 then up the hillside to Wood Lane and Knifeton (lunch). We then cross fields to the top lane and the second trig on Madge Hill. Head down to Woodhead Farm, head down to Green farm and head for the B5035 crossing by the pub. We pass Rowfields Hall Farm, Bank Top campsite and into Fenny Bentley and back into Thorpe and The Dog Inn for a pint. The Dog Inn is not far from the carpark) ;-) |

| Start Point Details | Free car park at Narlows Lane, Thorpe, near The Old Dog public house. From A515 (Buxton-Ashbourne), turn right at Tissington Gates onto lane signposted Thorpe, Ilam & Dovedale follow this around to Narlows Lane. Ignore P sign to the left just before right hand bend. Car park is on right after the sharp right hand bend (before T junction with The Old Dog opposite) |
