| Walk Name | Grindleford/Burbage/Longshaw |
| Description | A beautiful walk around the Grindleford area climbing from Upper Padley to the Upper Burbage Valley, following the Sheffield Country Walk down to the picturesque Longshaw Estate and walking through the enchanting and mystical Padley Woods back to Grindleford. Part of the walk takes us along the back of Millstone Edge where the views across the Hope Valley on a clear day are stunning. The walk is fairly strenuous. There is a short but very steep climb at the start up to Bole Hill Quarry which is particularly challenging - thereafter the terrain is undulating and rocky underfoot but not too demanding. No stiles. The ground is very uneven in places and may be muddy and slippery so please ensure you have suitable footwear. |
