Walk Name Redmires Reservoirs,Rivelin Valley and Wyming Brook
Description A delightful circular walk of historical interest and spectacular views over the 3 Redmires Reservoirs, Rivelin Dams and the wild side of the wonderful Wyming Brook (Site of Special Scientific Interest-SSSI).
We will walk on part of the Redmires Conduit up to and around the reservoirs. Then we head north to the Wyming Brook Nature Reserve, cross the Rivelin valley and climb up through the fields, with views over the valley, then return through the woods and across the Rivelin Dam Wall to the bottom of Wyming Brook. We climb up by the brook, meandering through the trees, crossing picturesque bridges and stepping stones and admiring its water falls.
