| Description | Walk down three very tranquil limestone dales- (Pikehall Dale, Gratton Dale and Long Dale) in the White Peak, linked by paths and tracks through beautiful secluded scenery. The walk through these dales finishes with a stretch of the High Peak Trail, a route planned as a canal, built as a railway. There are no steep hills but only moderate and short inclines during this walk. |

| Start Point Details | By road, the Peak Park car park and picnic area at Minninglow is 1 Km south of the A5012 road at Pikehall, 13km West of Cromford or 3km east along the A5012 from Newhaven on the A515 between Ashbourne and Buxton. There’s a hedge-hidden brown picnic sign and a road sign for Parwich here. To find the car park turn left after the railway arch .
