| Description | Starting from Bamford then Bamford Mill, across to the Thornhill Trail where we head south and follow the River Derwent for a while before heading to Oferton Hall, along to Mount Pleasant and down to the river again and follow it to Grindleford station. Back along Oxhay Wood, drop back down to the river (we retrace a few of our earlier steps). Into Hathersage, up to the church and on the North Lees. On to Greens House then down Hurstclough Lane to Bamford. |
