| Description | We meet by the Cheese Shop and head towards the Sewage Works (nice) but turn off to Digmer Farm (Phew!!) cross fields to foot bridge and onto Crakelow. Townend and cross more fields to Buttsend, cross the River Manifold and drop down to Hulme End (coffee/toilets/café). Follow Manifold Way to Ecton (first and only sharp climb of the day) Ecton Hill & trig point. We now head to Wetton then Narrow Dale then cross more fields to Beresford Dale, Pennilow, Crossland Sides and back into Hartington. |
