| Description | A varied walk that starts by walking through Beeley woods to the old Middlewood Hospital buildings (trendy flats) and the fossilised tree. Wadsley Common, trig point and Loxley Edge, Holdworth, Kirk Edge Convent and through the fields and woods back down to Oughtibridge. There are 2 short climbs and a decent but nothing too difficult. I may reverse the route on the day. |

I will wait inside the park by the entrance gate. S35 0FN. Parking near the park which can be busy or on the one way road just past the travellers pub (2 min walk to park) if coming from Hillsborough. |
