| Description | Come and see Sheffield 40s favourite Carnival A varied walk with some lovely views on a good day, embracing river, moors and fields and visiting the village of Bradwell for icecream, well dressings and to enjoy its annual carnival parade at 2pm We start by crossing the River Noe and heading in the direction of Hathersage before climbing up to Offerton Hall and onto Shatton Moors. Great views over the Hope Valley before decending very steeply at Bradwell Edge to Bradwell. We will spend some time here before returning to the start over the ridge via Shatton A couple of steep ascents and descents but worth it for the views. Proper footwear is advised as the ground can be rough, muddy and slippery in places, especially if wet. Due to erosion, the descent from Bradwell Edge can be tricky particularly if wet.
