| Description | Exiting the car park at the far end and turn left, up a short climb past the WW1 memorial site to meet up with the conduit. Turning left, we follow the conduit path, before heading out across the clough, which should provide a good show of colour from the heather at this time of the year. The path continues to skirt around the edge of Stanage and eventually,leads to a fairly steep climb up onto Stanage edge for some scenic views, before making our way back down the long causeway to Redmires reservoirs. A steady walk, with well trodden pathways all the way, perfect for bedding in those new boots, or just dusting off the cobwebs from your faithful footwear. |
