| Description | From Chatsworth, we head along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way by the river to Rowsley where we will have a late morning coffee stop at Caudwell’s Mill. From there it’s uphill to Manners Wood with great views and a late lunch stop (approx 1.00pm) before heading back to Chatsworth via Edensor, where we can visit the tea rooms or wait until we get back to the Stables cafe at Chatsworth. |

If travelling through Baslow by sat nav, you will see the Golden Gates into Chatsworth. Please bring cash if you think you might like to buy some home made jam or other goodies from the stall in Edensor village. Buses go to Chatsworth from Sheffield (the 218), Chesterfield (170) and Matlock (217). If you plan to come by bus, please check the times as they aren’t that frequent (hourly or less). Dogs on a short lead please - sheep about. |
