| Description | Tideswell Rake and Dales. Tideswell to Litton, tansley dale, Silly dale, Great Hucklow, Tideswell rake A varied walk through fields and dales, some lane walking. Lovely views on the rake if the weather is good. The climb after we cross the A6 is quite steep but short. The rest of the ascent is not difficult with a climb up the rake, apart from the short section where we cross High Dale. The rake should have a few wild flowers. Time to look around the festival at the end of the walk and go for a drink. I am hoping to get back by 2.30 to 3.00pm as people wish do some browsing.
