| Description | A short walk taking in some of the excellent parks and woodland around Sheffield 8. From Millhouses Park we cross Abbey Lane and walk past Beauchief Abbey and the golf course up to Chancet Wood. We then cross Chesterfield Rd and do a quick circuit up to the cafe in Graves Park. Back via the cemetery! Should be in the pub by 1pm, I reckon. Whahey! This would be a good walk for anyone who is new to the group and who wants to come and try us out. Bring your hat and sun cream. Bring your dog. It's also good for experienced walk leaders whose friend has a dog that can only do about 5 miles (me, obviously). There will be confectionery... |
