Walk Name | Kinder Scout and the Double Trig |
Description | From Hayfield we walk along Kinder reservoir before heading up a steep grassy path to the top of Kinder Scout. We will have a few quick breathers on the way up. Onto Sandy Hays (off path) with its double trig then Kinder downfall and Kinder low trig, down the Pennine way to Edale cross and a steady walk across the moorland and fields before arriving back to the start. Drinks in the Sportsman Pub at the end. If you haven’t been on Kinder Scout and would like to, come along on the walk. It’s a steep climb up but once onto top there are no other big climbs, the route back down is across fields and tracks. Ethel and Peaky wonder on this walk |
