Starting from the Snake Pass Woodlands, we will ascend to the Kinder Scout Plateau via Fair Brook, then follow the edges in an anticlockwise direction. Then descend via Fair Brook and back to the Snake Pass Woodlands. |

| Additional Information | Be aware that I might not have mobile reception at the starting point. Please ensure you are fully booted and equipped, ready to start walking by 8:30 am. We will begin promptly at 8:30 am sharp. There will be a walk briefing at 8:27 am. Please note: the walk leader will not wait for late arrivals. Dogs are not permitted on this walk. Kinder Scout Plateau is known for its unpredictable and rapidly changing weather. Please refer to S40s' advice: “Summer: carry extra water and some sun cream. A brimmed hat is very handy too. Remember the British summer can be inclement, so think about bringing waterproofs and something warm to put on in case the temperature suddenly drops (it has been known to snow in June in the Peak District).” |
