| Description | Starting at Whaley Bridge we walk towards Lyme Park where we walk past the lantern building on outskirts before we get to the park. We follow the Gritstone trail and go by the river on the Goyt way to New Mills and the Millennium Bridge. Its an easy walk back to Whaley Bridge along the canal. |

| Additional Information | Its Whaley Wharf Weekend with music story tellers and craft stalls 10am -6pm. There's a good second hand book shop upstairs in the wharf building. They sell hot drinks too if you fancy a drink before the walk. Get there early if you do. |
