| Description | We start with a steady uphill climb out of Eyam to Sir William Hill, then it’s an undulating walk to lunch in Great Hucklow. If it’s a clear day we’ll have great views, especially from our tea stop by the highest pub in Derbyshire. After lunch it’s a fairly flat walk back to Eyam via Grindlow and Foolow. Toilets at start (honesty box for donations). Pub or tea shop at the end. |

| Start Point Details | Eyam Parish 'Free' car park on Hawkhill Road .Car Park: Follow the blue P car park signs to Eyam Parish 'Free' car park on Hawkhill Road just up the hill on right after the Pay and Display car park and toilets on right and the museum on left. Please note the back road sometimes used as a short-cut from Grindleford to Eyam (B6521 New Road) is permanently closed owing to subsidence so plan your journey accordingly (eg via Calver Sough). Donation box by the gate. If you need to park in the Pay and Display car park, it’s been reduced to £2.00 all day from 1st April 2025. Toilets in the pay and display car park adjacent to the free one. |
