Start Time 9:00 am
Walk Name Kinder Scout and Ashop
Description This circular route begins by heading toward Lady Clough, leading us along the river toward Fairbrook. From here, the ascent begins, taking us steeply up to reach Kinder Northern Edge, Seal Edge.
We then transition into a stretch of rough, high-level walking across the expansive Edale Moor to reach Crowden Head. Joining a defined footpath once more, we head to Crowden Tower before turning onto the main Kinder Western Edge (part of the Pennine
Way). This section offers superb views as we descend towards Ashop Head.
The final leg of the journey takes us through Ashop Clough, following the river back to the start point at the car park.
