Walk Name Kinder Low and Turtle back rocks circular from Hayfield
Description Starting from Hayfield, the walk climbs steadily through the beautiful Peak District landscape towards Kinder Low Trig Point, offering expansive views across the surrounding moorlands and valleys. From the summit, the route continues to the distinctive Turtle Back Rocks, where the unusual gritstone formations provide an excellent spot to pause and take in the rugged scenery.
The walk then descends via Three Knolls, following a rocky path that gradually drops back towards the valley. Throughout the route, walkers are rewarded with a mixture of open moorland, dramatic rock formations, and panoramic vistas, making this a memorable and varied circular walk on the Kinder Scout plateau.
