As the weekends away and meals out are always oversubscribed and tend to fill up almost as soon as they hit the website, we have to restrict them to current members of SWG40s. However, everyone is welcome on a pub night out, especially if you are new to the group or you are thinking about joining us.

Details: A week away in the pretty South Wales town of Tenby. The Welsh coast and countryside look lovely at this time of year with lots of wild flowers.
Book your own accommodation for Friday 1st May for as long as you want to stay. Monday 4th May is a Bank Holiday. The organisers are staying for a week from Friday 1st May, going home on Friday 8th May, walking Saturday to Thursday, but you can just come for the long weekend if you wish.
It’s a book your own accommodation trip - there are loads of B&B’s in Tenby, plus lots of holiday cottages if some of you want to book your own cottage.
Please let Lucia know if you’re thinking about coming, but want to discuss sharing accommodation or a lift with someone who’s thinking of going. Lucia will put you in touch with each other, but she won’t be organising lift shares or accommodation.
We will be planning walks and evening meals once we know numbers. Potential walks include:
Walk 1 - Public transport (Bus) to Freshwater East and walk back following the Wales Coastal Path - c11 miles and 1000ft of ascent
Walk 2 - Circular Walk from Tenby to Saundersfoot - walking inland to Saundersfoot and then the coastal path back, c10 miles.
We can also drive or get public transport to other areas for walks. Further walk details nearer the time.

Details: Matt is a comedian and impersonator who has been through tough cancer treatment and is now back on tour. His show has had good reviews, there's quite a bit of political satire, and hopefully it'll be enjoyable.
